School Days

The kids started school on August 11th. Ty is in fourth grade. Brooke is in 2nd grade. I am finding 4th grade to be an adjustment. Ty's always had homework and this year he has very little. Also, his grades changed. He used to get 1,2,3. 3 was best. Now he's on an A,B,C,F grading scale. It sure is different. I'm sure we'll adjust.
Brooke's doing o.k. I go help on Thursday's in her class. It helps to see what's going on in class. Especially where she needs help at.
Ty is playing baseball again in the fall. He actually made a travel ball team for the spring. They already are practicing and will play a few games this fall. Ty received his first ever fat lip with this team. A coach was pitching to Ty and he couldn't get out of the way. Right in the mouth it hit. Poor guy!!

We are fixing to sign Brooke up for guitar lessons for the fall. She really enjoys playing with musical instruments. We'll see how this goes.
Hunting season starts this weekend. Ty is hunting with a bow this year. Of course, he it gets anything, I'll post it. Pumpkin season is also starting for me this weekend. It's going to be a busy fall. Especially for me with my breast cancer walk just right around the corner.
I think this catches us up to date. Take care!!
Love,
Kati
